These dipping tongs have revolutionized my glazing. These tongs clamp at the base of pottery, where glaze normally will pool anyway, eliminating the need to fetter away tong marks. In addition, these particular tongs have a spring so open to release easily. Granted, glazing is often a pain to most potters, but with these tongs, I have found glazing much easier and faster. With these tongs there's still work to be done after dipping, but that is much reduced! For those who prefer a more traditional pottery glaze clamp, I also offer this one!
